- Knowing the kids' backgrounds as well as realizing that it influences their learning.
- Involve their interests into the lesson, for an example if they like to cheer, make up a cheer for them to learn spelling words.
- Have them make a family tree.
- Students develop differently and knowing how to teach to all of them.
- Being able to adapt to meet their needs.
- Understand what the students' special needs are and look beyond the label.
