PLN stands for a personal learning network that could be a social media account as an educator that I could use to post/share all the things that I have done or found in my journey or future career as well as looking at what others share!
The Instagram profile I have made is designed for me to be able to share what I am currently learning on my journey to be an educator as well as being able to get ideas and learn from what others have posted. As a future teacher, creating a PLN is important to me so that I can be able to post on a page and networking system like social media without having to show all my personal posts. This makes it more professional. When I was in high school my one teacher had an Instagram, even as students we loved seeing all the things she would post about her class.
Some examples of this could be fun pictures and updates of things that I have done in class, like my first lesson plan or showing the base 10 blocks that we used to learn in my survey mathematics. Another thing I could post are pictures of things that I have found. These things include pinterests or some fun ed tools. These are things that I might want to share with other educators. Also having my own PLN helps me be able to see other educator posts and find things that I might find helpful in my future classroom.
